First things first,

Where are you looking to buy?

Start with your city or ZIP and I’ll fill in the rest. Programs are local, so this tells me which ones to check.

You can edit this anytime in your profile.

You don’t need us to do this.

Every program on your list is run by somebody else, and most of them would rather hear from you directly.

  • Talk to a HUD-approved counselor

Free, and several are exhibiting here today. They can walk you through an application start to finish.

  • Take a homebuyer class

Nearly every program on your list asks for one. Free classes across Philadelphia, in person and online.

Every card links to the agency's own page. Apply there, with or without us.

Educational only. We don't recommend a program, quote a rate, or work out what you can afford. That's a conversation for a counselor or a licensed loan officer.

Questions people ask us

Is this free?
Yes, and it stays free for homebuyers. We are paid by the real estate and lending professionals who use the other side of the product.
Do you need my Social Security number?
No. No Social Security number, no credit pull, and no bank login. We ask about your household so we can narrow the list, and you can skip any question.
Are you a lender?
No. We are not a lender and we do not sell your information to one. Each program on your list is run by a city, state, federal or non-profit agency that makes its own decisions.
Will you tell me which program to pick?
No — that is a decision for you, with a HUD-approved housing counselor or a licensed loan officer. We show you what each program publishes so you can ask better questions.
What if I am not ready to buy yet?
Most people are not, and that is the point of starting now. Many programs ask for a homebuyer class and some ask for savings you build over months.
Can I use this in a language other than English?
Yes. The questions on this page come in Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and Tagalog as well as English — choose yours above the first question. The results here are in English for now.
