Is this really free?
Yes. We don't charge borrowers anything. We make money when a lender or realtor we partner with closes a deal — but only if you choose to work with one, and only after you've already seen your matches.
What's the catch?
No catch on the matching. The honest answer: if you decide to actually apply for a program, the program itself may have requirements (homebuyer education, income docs, etc.). We tell you what those are upfront.
Who pays for these programs?
Federal, state, and local housing agencies. Some employers. Some nonprofits. Billions in DPA money sits unclaimed every year because most buyers don't know it exists.
Will a lender call me?
Only if you ask. We don't share your info with anyone unless you explicitly assign yourself to a loan officer through the app.
How accurate are the matches?
We score against roughly 93 fields per program. Eligible = every rule we can check passed. May be eligible = the rest passes but the program has rules our wizard can’t check (census tract, etc.). Definitive eligibility always comes from the program administrator.
What if I'm not a first-time buyer?
Many programs work for repeat buyers too — "first-time" often has a technical definition (haven’t owned in the last 3 years). We surface programs that fit your actual situation, not just the obvious ones.
Do I need to fix my credit first?
Not for the matching. Some programs have minimum scores; we'll show you which ones you'd unlock by improving and by how much.
Where does my data go?
It stays with us. We don't sell it. We don't share it with lenders unless you explicitly opt in. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
