Governor Hobbs' Arizona is Home -- Mortgage Assistance Program is a collaboration between the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) and AzIDA targeted to rural Arizona counties. Eligible buyers receive a below-market 30-year fixed-rate first mortgage funded with tax-exempt mortgage revenue bonds, plus 4% of the first mortgage amount in DPA structured as a no-interest, no-payment deferred soft second mortgage. For 2026, the second is NON-FORGIVABLE -- entire balance due upon sale, refinance, or transfer. Available in 13 rural counties; not offered in Maricopa or Pima counties or in Chino Valley, AZ. New reservations open April 6, 2026 with $55M annual funding cap.
