The City of Superior, administered through the Northwest Regional Planning Commission's Northwest Affordable Housing HOME program, provides down payment and closing-cost assistance as a 0% interest deferred-payment mortgage on an existing single-family owner-occupied dwelling. Assistance is up to 10% of the purchase price, not to exceed 50% of the required down payment, and is repaid when the home is sold, transferred, or no longer the borrower's primary residence. Income-eligible buyers must be below HUD income limits for Douglas County (~80% AMI).
