The City of West Allis Home Buyer Loan Program provides low- to moderate-income households a 0% interest deferred loan of up to $5,000 toward the down payment and closing costs on a single-family home or duplex in West Allis. The loan is repaid in small monthly installments (about $40/month) and the buyer must occupy the home as a principal residence for at least five years. Applicants must complete HUD-certified homebuyer counseling and apply at least three weeks before closing.
