The City of York Homebuyer Grant Program provides up to $15,000 toward down payment and closing costs for first-time homebuyers purchasing a single-family home in York City, administered by Tenfold Community Lending on behalf of the City. Eligibility uses a higher income ceiling of 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, broadening access beyond the HOME-funded program. The grant carries 0% interest with no monthly payments, is secured by a second mortgage lien, and is prorated and forgiven over five years.
