The FHLBank San Francisco Middle-Income Downpayment Assistance (MDPA) Program provides matching grants of up to $50,000 to first-time homebuyers earning between 80.01% and 140% of AMI purchasing in Arizona, California, or Nevada. Buyers must contribute a minimum of $10,000 of their own funds and complete homebuyer counseling; the grant is delivered to escrow by a participating FHLB-SF member lender. The 2026 program has $11 million available first-come, first-served (first $8M round exhausted; $3M second round later in 2026).
