ANDP's First Generation Homebuyer Program is a true $12,000 grant (no repayment, no lien, no forgiveness clock) targeted at first-generation buyers purchasing an ANDP-developed home in metro Atlanta. ANDP defines a first-generation homebuyer as one whose parents have never owned a home, or who lost a parent-owned home through foreclosure or short sale, and who do not currently own a home. The grant is delivered at closing through the buyer's approved lender and may be used for closing costs, down payment, principal reduction, or interest-rate buydown. ANDP develops single-family homes across DeKalb, Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, Gwinnett and other metro Atlanta counties — all eligible properties are within ANDP's affordable-homeownership portfolio.
