Harris County Housing Finance Corporation partners with TDHCA by assigning private activity bonds to fund below-market mortgage rates. An additional $1,000 grant per household is available to eligible first-time, low-to-moderate-income homebuyers on top of TDHCA's standard DPA. Service area covers Harris County, excluding Baytown, Deer Park, Friendswood, Houston, La Porte, League City, Missouri City, Pasadena, and Pearland.
