The Intown Mortgage Assistance Program (IMAP) is an Invest Atlanta homebuyer incentive that provides up to $10,000 in down payment, closing-cost, or permanent interest-rate buydown assistance to buyers purchasing a home within the City of Atlanta. The assistance is delivered as a 0% interest soft second mortgage fully forgiven after the buyer lives in the property as their primary residence for 5 years. IMAP pairs with a 30-year fixed-rate FHA, VA, or conventional first mortgage from an Invest Atlanta participating lender and is intended for in-town moderate-income buyers.
