The MPDU Settlement Expense Assistance Program helps homebuyers with down payment and closing costs associated with the purchase of a Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) home in the City of Annapolis. It provides up to $10,000 as a zero-percent-interest deferred loan requiring no payments, repayable only upon sale, transfer, or after 10 years. Borrowers must hold an MPDU Certificate of Eligibility, complete HUD-certified homeownership counseling, and contribute at least 1% of the sales price from their own funds.
