The Teacher Next Door Program helps Texas teachers and school staff (PreK–12 teachers, administrators, aides, and non-instructional school employees) access home buying grants of up to $9,000 plus additional down payment assistance up to $24,000. Program specialists identify applicable state and local government grants, which can be combined with the Teacher Next Door benefit. The TSAHC Homes for Texas Heroes program is also available to qualifying educators.
