Tenfold Community Lending (formerly LHOP) provides down payment and closing-cost assistance to first-time homebuyers purchasing a single-family home anywhere in Lancaster County, including Lancaster City. Assistance is a 0% interest, no-monthly-payment second-mortgage loan of up to 8% of the sale price, repaid in full when the home is sold, transferred, cash-out refinanced, or no longer the borrower's primary residence. Homes in the Southwest Lancaster (SoWe) neighborhood qualify for an enhanced amount.
