TSAHC's Homes for Texas Heroes program provides down payment assistance of 2-5% of the loan amount to full-time emergency medical personnel including emergency care attendants, EMTs, EMT-intermediates, EMT-paramedics, and licensed paramedics. Assistance can be a non-repayable grant or a forgivable second lien forgiven after 3 years of owner-occupancy. Minimum 620 credit score required.
