LTV
Loan-to-Value Ratio
How much of the home's price you're borrowing. Buy a $300K house with $30K down, and you're borrowing $270K — that's a 90% LTV. The lower this number, the better terms you'll usually get.
Example
$270K ÷ $300K = 90% LTV
Hey Prescott is not a lender and this is general education, not advice about your loan. Your lender or a HUD-approved housing counselor can tell you how a term applies to you.
