Right to know
What your pro can see
Working with an agent or loan officer through Hey Prescott means they can see the parts of your profile they need in order to help. Here is exactly what that includes — and what it never does.
What they can see
- Your wizard answers
- Everything you entered about your situation — location, household, budget, timeline, and the eligibility details the programs are matched against.
- Programs you save
- Which assistance programs you have saved, and that you saved them recently. Your pro sees the list, not a browsing history.
- Your readiness stage
- The same readiness score and stage you see on your own dashboard. It is not a credit score and your pro cannot edit it.
- When your details change
- If you update your answers or finish homebuyer education, your pro is told that it happened — because it can change which programs you may qualify for.
- Messages you send them
- The conversation between you and that pro, exactly as you would expect.
What they cannot
- Your conversations with Prescott
- Never. What you ask Prescott is not readable by any pro — the database itself refuses those reads, not just the screens.
- When or how often you use the app
- Sign-ins, sessions, time of day, how long you spent on a page — none of it is recorded for your pro, and most of it is not recorded at all.
- Programs you only looked at
- Viewing a program is not saving it. Only what you deliberately save is shared.
- Anything, once you are no longer connected
- A pro sees this only while you are actively working together. It applies to pros you are connected to and to nobody else.
If you would rather not share any of this, you can end the connection with your pro at any time, or delete your account. Questions about any of the above go to privacy@heyprescott.com.
